Thank you for your interest in the Academy of Hair Design! We are proud to offer a REFERRAL SCHOLARSHIP opportunity that can take up to $1000 off the cost of your tuition. If you think a career in the beauty industry is the right fit for you, we welcome you to apply.

Here is how it works: 

• Fill out the application and questionnaire completely.

• Attach 3 letters of reference with at least one from an industry professional.

• Answer the question, “Why are you passionate about being a cosmetologist/barber, and how will this scholarship help further your career?” with either a 3-5 minute video or a vision board with 200 word explanation essay.

• Submit your scholarship packet at least two weeks prior to your first day of classes.

All scholarships are awarded based on qualifications, program of choice, and availability of scholarship funds. To be considered, your scholarship packet needs to be neat and complete. If you receive funds, you can apply your scholarship to classes starting within six months of your acceptance date. Read the instructions carefully and let us know if you have any questions.
